i've had a super fun weekend! (:

saturday!
swimming picnic! :D
karen + her bro + me met at her pool! we practised our straddle-tucks/tuck-straddles and leaps and lu tiaos while waiting for jolene to come at the pool next to the jacuzzi cos we were cold.
hahaha it was funnn. i learnt what a lu tiao was! (:
karen insisted doing straddle-tucks while ben and i said that doing tuck-straddles were easier so we had 2 different jumps! and when jolene came she joined karen in her straddle-tucking. (:
then we got jolene to take a few videos of us before going to the playground pool and playing obstacle course.
obstacle course was fun! (: we created our own 'steps' and i made one that was 'jump around the whole playground 3 times'- and nearly got murdered by karen and jolene. heehee.
then lunch!
karen brought egg with butter, ham and bbq ruffles. i brought bread, tuna (sadly forgot the mayo! D:) and sour cream & onion lays. we ate the entire loaf of bread together with the egg & butter and ham. yum!
after lunch we floated around doing random things before showering and then hanging out at the playground for a while.

he's very right, if your relationship with God isn't okay, you can't be right with man either.
and loving your enemies.
if God can love us so unconditionally, shouldn't we just share a teeny weeny bit of that love with others too?

拜年, eat lunch, and take photos again. (:
hahaha it's so nice to see all my cousins again. i was sitting at one corner of the table eating my lunch and observing everybody and my goodness, how old everybody is already! karina is the only one still in primary school; and only 3 of us are left in secondary school! 2 in JC, 2 in NS, and the last 2 in uni! wow. i feel small!
hahaha i still remember last time i used to think 15 was old. and now i'm 15!
even the oldies have grown... older!

fast forward to 1930h- meeting xiaojiufu, xiaojiumu and karina at river angbao. (:
we had fun trying out my dad's new camera! and xiaojiufu and xiaojiumu were so impressed with it that they decided to get one too!
it was nice walking around cos it wasn't very VERY crowded, and the lanterns were all super pretty. (: there was this wishing well one (sadly no photo of that) which we threw coins into. (: just for fun!
i think this year's river angbao stuff was very well done. (:
