yesterday was such a lovely lovely day!
and the feeling of NTM came rushing rushing rushing back again, all the bittersweet-ness but so much joy and so much love. (:
and i really have to thank God that He has given me such an awesome opportunity to serve Him in, to be able to experience this kind of fellowship which i've been longing for for so long, and which is always so deeply satisfying. i want more tengah-truth combined meetings! (: please let's have more.
thank You God really for everything, because we needed You and without You it wouldn't have been possible, and i acknowledge that. i'm really really awed by how You've been with us and kept us, and truly truly given us this wonderful opportunity to get to know fellow brothers and sisters-in-Christ. i'm so exhausted but the whole experience has been so fulfilling, so rewarding, and it's such a joy knowing that we can pray together, we can share and we can work together, by Your grace, and be able to serve You. (:
even throughout the whole of yesterday i don't know if you could but i could feel God working in the midst of us, and it's amazing and superbly breathtaking to see what He can do.
most of all i want to thank You, God, for the people here today, especially the 7 other people who i worked with and by God's grace, really really made the whole experience of serving Him in this area so worthwhile, and so meaningful. thank you to esther, jiahui, emerson, aaron, edison, norman and joan. i'm super happy i got to work with all of you and i hope we'll get to serve God together again, i can't tell you how much joy it's given me! (:
and thanks a million joan for being so wonderful and doing the stuff i didn't want to do like organizing people haha. (: i realised i'd rather do behind-the-scenes work like getting things ready instead of attempting to organize people which i'm rather a failure at. i don't know how but somehow people just knew that we baked the cookies and they kept saying thank you for it which was really sweet. (:
i finally understand what shing said in his year-end paper plate letter to me last year. i never realised saying a simple 'thank you' can go a long way, but it does! (: thank you for those who said thank you and for helping to wash up/do stuff!
it is really a huge privilege to serve God, and i feel so honoured that i could serve Him in such a small simple way like baking cookies and doing dinner and stuff. (:
and thank You Lord, truly once again from the bottom of my heart, for giving me yesterday.
with all my love,
simone
